The Israeli Embassy in India collaborated with TiE Chandigarh, a non-profit, global community welcoming entrepreneurs from all over the world
The Israeli Embassy in India collaborated with TiE Chandigarh, a non-profit, global community welcoming entrepreneurs from all over the world, to provide sustainability mentorship to Indian businesses and assist them in developing skills to scale their firms.
This project strengthened both countries' commercial and economic ties. The project concluded with a December 8 event in Chandigarh, during which five Indian companies presented their business concepts in the presence of H.E. Naor Gilon, Ambassador of Israel to India.
The goal of this project was to identify promising sustainability firms and coach them through workshops and seminars led by Israeli and Indian entrepreneurs and subject matter experts.
"Our governments continue to cooperate and support the vibrant startup scene in both countries, and our industries and private sectors are sharing their experiences and working on the ground together. I encourage people from both countries to come together, grow together and merge their innovative ideas and technological capabilities to reach new heights," he added further.
Ms Nava Swersky, a well-known VC and mentor from Israel, guided the Indian entrepreneurs throughout the programme. Ms Swersky is a technology entrepreneur with over 30 years of international entrepreneurship and management expertise.
